Choosing the Right Quality
For most streams, the defaults — 720p, 30 fps, 2.5 Mbps — deliver a clear picture without straining a typical home upload connection. If your connection is fast and stable, stepping up to 1080p at 4.5–6 Mbps produces noticeably sharper results. Before committing to a higher preset, verify your actual upload speed; sustained upload bandwidth must comfortably exceed the bitrate you select. Higher-end presets also place greater demands on your device’s hardware and the destination platform’s ingest. If preparation fails at a high preset, try stepping the resolution or bitrate down first.Camera Source and Orientation
When you use a camera as your video source, Ogh samples your device’s physical orientation at the moment you tap Go Live and locks it for the session:- Landscape — Ogh uses the standard width × height for your chosen resolution (for example, 1280 × 720 at 720p).
- Portrait — Ogh swaps the dimensions (for example, 720 × 1280 at 720p).
